Botox
Botox can be used to relax the muscles that create deep lines and wrinkles such as across the forehead and between and around the eyes. Each area is considered and treated individually and can be in isolation or one or more areas can be treated at the same time.
It is a series of small injections that are usually well tolerated. Some redness and bruising may occur but this usually resolves with in a few hours. Most people can return to work the same day. Botox usually takes up to two weeks to fully take effect but most people notice a difference in the first week. It lasts between 3 to 4 months and can be repeated after 12 weeks and adjustments can be made as to how much you have and the effect you would like.
